Odd Future [힙합]

Odd Future는 LA와 캘리포니아를 기반으로 해서 활동하는 힙합 집단으로 10대에서 많아 봤자 20대초의 멤버들로 구성되어있다.
스스로 자신들의 음악을 Horrorcore라고 규정하며 학교, 부모를 포함한 기성 세대와 기존 힙합에 대한 염증과 혐오를 드러내면서 음악에서부터 비디오, 포스터, 홈페이지까지 B급 문화와
고어한 면을 부각시키며 집단 광기가 물씬 묻어나는 기이한 세계관의 결과물로 기괴하고 천재적인 창작 집단으로 평가 받고 있다.
그룹의 리더인 타이러 더 크리에이터(Tyler The Creater)는 2009년 Bastard 앨범 이후 발매한 2011년 앨범 Goblin에서 언더그라운드를 넘어 메인스트림에서의 성공을 입증한 바 있다.
앨범 발매 즉시 빌보드 힙합차트 1위 종합차트 5위를 기록하였고, 카니예 웨스트가 2011 최고의 뮤직 비디오라는 극찬과 함께 Yonkers 영상이 2900만건 이상의 유튜브 조회수를 기록하며 MTV VMA에서 신인상을 수상하기도 하였다. .... ....
