Cougar (코우가)는 현재 포스트락씬에서 락과 일렉트로닉을 가장 진보적이고 최상의 배합으로 빚어내는 미국 위스콘신 5인조 밴드로 드럼과 퍼커션을 맡고 있는 리더 David Henzie-Skogen을 비롯해 베이스의 Todd Hill, 기타리스트 Trent Johnson, 신디사이저와 프로그래밍을 맡는 Aaron Sleator, 기타리스트 Dan Venne 등으로 이루어져 있다. 미국에서 2007년 베스트앨범으로 선정된 그들의 데뷔작 [Law]으로 U.N.K.L.E., Maximo Park, Art Brut 등과 함께 라이브 무대에 올랐으며 두 번째 앨범 [Patriot]는 닌자튠의 락/팝계열 서브레이블 Counter Records를 통해 발표되어 NME 등으로부터 호평을 얻기도 했다. .... ....
