INTRODUCTION cpo가 자랑하는 빌라-로보스 교향곡 전집 프로젝트의 5번째 앨범은 <교향곡 7번>과 <신포니에타 1번>을 수록하고 있다. <7번>은 그의 이전 교향곡들이 표제적 성격을 띠고 있었던 것과는 다른 순음악적 성격을 지니고 있다. 멜로디와 리듬의 구성은 좀더 복잡해졌고, 하모니의 사용은 농밀해졌다. 위압적인 극적 효과들과 무조적 음향, 그리고 정교한 멜로디가 연속적으로 펼쳐지며 곡을 인상적으로 만들고 있다. 이 앨범은 또한 커플링으로는 초기 작품으로 모차르트에게 헌정된 <신포니에타 1번>이 수록해 이색적이다. .... ....
